A concert was given by the wounded soldiers at Clifton Springs to the residents of Drysdale in recognition of the kindness shown to them. The sum of £10 was raised at the recent Red Cross concert. Read more >>

In October, the Book Club met to discuss The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society written by Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows. Mary Ann Shaffer was a 70 year old American former librarian who had been interested in writing all of her life but never previously published. Sadly she became ill and did not live to see her book published. Read more >>
