    A concert was given by the wounded soldiers at Clifton Springs to the residents of Drysdale in recognition of the kindness shown to them. The sum of £10 was raised at the recent Red Cross concert. Read more >>

    The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society – Nov (2009)

    In October, the Book Club met to discuss The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society written by Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows. Mary Ann Shaffer was a 70 year old American former librarian who had been interested in writing all of her life but never previously published.
