History of the SpringDale Neighbourhood Centre
The SpringDale Neighbourhood Centre services the communities of the northern Bellarine Peninsula. For 19 years the Centre was housed in a small cottage directly behind the community Hall that stands in the main street of Drysdale. It expanded into the new extension at the side of the Hall near the end of 2005. If you look into our new premises, at any one time you are likely to find a variety of classed being conducted, special interest groups occupying the kitchen, computer room, hall, and recreation room, and maybe small groups in the foyer playing board games such as chess, mahjong or scrabble.
