What’s it like to work at SpringDale
By SpringDale on Thu 16th Sep 2010
I’ve learnt so much from working here in the 4 years. There is never a dull day, as there is always something to do. Whether it be the usual routine duties to do, or the occasional day where I walk in the door and end up being asked to do something entirely different in the kitchen or childcare room. SpringDale is a place where you can learn something new each day.
Being involved in such a great community organisation has widened my knowledge of the community and the many different organisations around the area we have. I do the advertising for the “town by town” in the Echo, the course guide, the Neighbourhood Watch newsletter, and of latest, the organising and planning of the Adrian Mannix award dinner in Portarlington (which was at the end of May) which turned out to be a successful nights event.
It is absolutely fantastic to be involved to work in such a great Neighbourhood Centre, and have such a friendly and supportive team to work with.
